Our Story
Since its founding in 1994, Lopez Engineering, Inc. (LEI) has grown from a start-up company of one to a sophisticated team completing projects all over the Southwestern United States. Founder and President Mr. John J. Lopez, PE, has over 30 years of experience serving as a Project Manager and an Electrical Engineer for utilities and private practices.
A minority-owned small business and a graduate of the federal 8(a) program, LEI is an electrical engineering firm with a strong record of delivering creative solutions to complex problems. Our work is fueled by passion and founded on ethics.
LEI works in sensitive and highly technical environments and our clients include the Department of Defense (DOD), the Department of Energy (DOE), Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories and local government agencies. We successfully design and consult on sophisticated engineering and energy projects and service universities, hospitals, commercial/industrial businesses and public agencies.
Over the years LEI has received several awards for exceptional accomplishment in energy management from agencies such as the Department of Energy and Department of Defense. Our team is proud to provide high quality engineering services on time and within budget.
