Samsula Demolition is a family owned company which was incorporated in 2004. My name is Yancey McDonald and I am the president/ owner of Samsula. I am a lifelong Volusia County resident which goes back 3 generations. Being the son of a cattle rancher I know the value of hard work. In the early 70's I went to work for a local company where I learned the art of landclearing. From there I ventured out on my own building fence and eventually discing fire lines. I eventually built my business into Yancey's Landclearing Inc (1980) where we performed demolition, site prep and landclearing. After the hurricanes in 2004 our primary focus shifted to demolition so I started a sister company Samsula Waste Inc. dba Samsula Demolition. Our work family has been together for a number of years. We strive to be at the top of the industry using all of the latest equipment. Our team has been educated through experience (over 100 years combined) and through various classes such as asbestos abatement, lead abatement, OSHA, CPR, respiratory and certified operators. We also make every effort possible to recycle all materials from all of our projects. Right now our project average of 85% with some projects reaching 95% recycle rate.  Together we have performed all sort of projects ranging from small residential to large commercial projects up to 6 stories. Some of our projects include Halifax Hospital parking garage & helicopter pad, Atlantic Medical Center, New Smyrna Beach High School, Various hotels on Beachside, Former GE buildings @ Daytona Speedplex, Embry Riddle library, Daytona State College buildings, Kennedy Space Center building, Dr Phillips Performing Arts Center, Etc.Our team is extremely excited about the work we are performing and always looking forward to new ventures.
