Scope Of Work
A complete facility renovation with multiple phased additions totaling 32,000 square feet. Additions include a refined and renovated sanctuary, social hall, certified child care development, classrooms, administrative offices, rotunda gathering area, full service kitchen, chapel and courtyard.
CASE STUDY
Project Challenge: To provide a working sequenced and phased construction program to maintain full public access service to the operating church and certified child day care services over the course of a 15 month project.
Krill Case Study Solution: As construction manager, The Krill Co., Inc. took an aggressive approach towards the sequencing and phasing of construction by eliminating one phase of construction. By increasing the work scope in two of the four suggested phases, the project and congregation was able to endure overlapping phases while reducing the schedule by 3 months. This process not only reduced general conditions, it eliminated costly temporary protection and a secondary move for the church, while bringing the project to an earlier completion to meet their Holiday schedule.
