Scope Of Work
Because this building was constructed adjacent to the existing hospital, dust control and clean-up were critical considerations to the owner. In addition, upfits were made in shell spaces that adjoined existing tenants, making dust control a high priority. Nielsen provided barriers and walk-off mats, and performed clean-up to maintain a clean, safe working environment. The interior design of the building includes features such as a granite-floored atrium with a glass rail on the second elevators. It is the hope of the owner that the atrium will provide patients a pleasant, “healing” environment far removed from the institutional hospital environments of the past.
