Scope Of Work

The renovation of this architect's Brattle Street neighborhood residence includes a third floor addition and ground floor expansion. The family's needs were accommodated through thoughtful pre-planning and precise execution of the project schedule in two ten week phases.

A spacious master suite and office was custom built on the top level. The architect's desire to use unfinished wood demanded precise compound mitered work on the finished ceiling of tongue and groove redwood boards. The kitchen expansion includes a copper roofed dining nook of custom mill work floor to ceiling windows, wood ceiling, and radiant heat stone floor. The seamless expansion of the exterior stone terrace enhances the setting of this historic home.
