Contracted as Construction Manager with a Guaranteed Maximum Price, this project involved the adaptive reuse of a 40 year old commercial building into a state-of-the-art police headquarters. The facility includes 14 individual overnight detention cells, soft holding cells, records room, Information Technology (IT) areas, locker rooms, investigation rooms, 911/communication room, and mezzanine level evidence storage. Along with the staff and administrative offices the facility includes conference rooms, kitchen, lunch rooms, and indoor parking for 10 vehicles with equipment storage area. The building is equipped with a UPS system throughout and emergency power generator. Site work includes secure and public parking, detention system/wet pond, bike path and playground.
