Scope Of Work
Developer, DL3 Realty selected McShane Construction Company to provide comprehensive construction services for Roseland Medical Center, a 27,161-square-foot medical office and retail center at 111th Street and Perry Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. The city’s redevelopment process required a variety of local community initiatives including minority subcontractor participation and local labor hiring facilitated by McShane throughout the project.
McShane constructed the one- and two-story mixed-use medical and retail center of precast panels with brick inlays, sun shades and low-e glass. McShane also completed a ‘green roof’ for the building in compliance with the city’s green roofs initiative.
The Roseland Medical Center serves as an extension of Roseland Community Hospital established over 80 years ago, remaining a constant presence in this south Chicago neighborhood.
