Scope Of Work
Cost estimating was developed during design development for the addition and renovation of the DEI Laboratory on Great Wass Island in Beals, ME. The project includes an 8,500 sq. ft. addition of laboratory space along with office space, housing for visiting scientists and students, and a touch tank in the new reception area will display indigenous species. A large conference center with views of the harbor provides space for community events. A renovation to the existing shellfish production wing will also be completed. The building is designed to meet the energy efficiency standards of ASHRAE Standard 189.1-2011.
