Scope Of Work
This church was separated into two phases involved an addition renovations.
Phase One: 1,625 SF renovation an existing demolition old kitchen structure. original was built 1972 as a clubhouse for a plantation community. early 2000’s, a restaurant purchased added a kitchen which we demolished to add sanctuary. Mashburn removed old locker rooms sauna added a family restroom a nursery. old main restrooms, a conference room an old wine cellar were gutted remodeled into new restrooms. Our also renovated old bar library transformed old tennis courts into main parking lot near new main entry.
Phase Two: a new 3,766 SF Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) chapel. roof structure was Timber trusses with laminated structural roof decking. Anderson Gothic Hurricane windows that were 18 and 32 feet tall at gable ends were also installed. Raised panel interior columns with a patterned tile floor custom church pews finished off interior sanctuary.
church was operational held Sunday during entire 9-month . Throughout , 10 mechanical units were switched out on a weekly basis, to ensure that congregation had air conditioning every Sunday. Our was able to deliver this on time despite four drawing revisions during .
