President, CHC, joined the company in 1996 beginning his career in the field as a general laborer, and then as an assistant estimator/project manager. Joe became an Estimator/Project Manager in 1998 and was then promoted to Executive Vice President in 2004. In 2013, Joe K. was named President of DeSalvo Construction. Joe K. manages all company operations and oversees all current projects. He attended Eastern Michigan University from 1988 through 1990, and transferred to Youngstown State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1993. An active member of the Builders Association, Joe K. is a past president and currently serving on the Executive Committee and as a CAP Trustee. On March 17, 2010, Joseph K. DeSalvo was one of the first construction professionals in the country to earn the ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) credentials. Joe K. maintains the CHC credential by attending healthcare certified courses, seminars, and classes and that are recognized by the American Hospital Association and the American Society for Healthcare Engineering.
