Our Story

Gruene Environmental Construction was founded in 2008, and opened an office in New Braunfels, Texas. With over 20 years of experience in the environmental industry GEC was positioned to provide specialized environmental services to Texas. Over the course of a couple years Gruene Environmental Construction had grown into a successful business, and the company “working towards a Gruener Environment.” In 2010 Gruene Environmental took aim at Industrial Waste Management and began providing in plant waste management services at multiple facilities in Texas as Gruene Plant Services (GPS). Also in 2010 Gruene Environmental announced a merger with Responsive Environmental Solutions, an established local waste disposal company centrally located in Texas, and added Gruene Waste Services (GWS) to the company. The establishment of GPS and GWS completed the long term plan for the creation of Gruene Environmental Companies, and allowed for Gruene Environmental to now provide complete environmental management.
