Scope Of Work
Located in Cleveland’s Glenville neighborhood, Doan School was constructed in 1904 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Community non-profit leaders, the Famicos Foundation, purchased the property to adaptively re-use bring renewed life back to the neighborhood.
Large common areas are dedicated as public spaces for the building’s residents and take advantage of the school's large assembly spaces and auditotium. The $8.6 million rehabilitation project contains 45 apartments and exemplifies the value in recycling an old building and preserving history in a beloved Cleveland neighborhood.
