Scope Of Work

The First Baptist Church of North Brentwood, MD selected Gilford to construct its $5.8 million church facility, which the congregation had been planning since 2000. The 24,000 sf facility, constructed across the street from the old church, features a 780-seat sanctuary with baptismal pool, choir loft, and mezzanine audio/visual room. The sanctuary's two-story vaulted ceiling with exposed laminated wood trusses is not only dramatic, however it also affords incredible acoustics and sound quality. Marble flooring graces the lobby area and a two-story Administration Wing accommodates offices, classrooms, elevator, multi-purpose room, and a commercial kitchen.
