Scope Of Work
Parkes Construction, formerly R. P. Industries, Inc., has constructed approximately 17 projects for Verizon since 2004 in Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama. Projects range from simple interior build outs to shell only construction to complete building and site construction.
Recently completed freestanding stores have typically ranged in size from 3,000 to 4,000 SF. The scope of work includes complete turnkey site and building construction. The sites are typically 1 acre ± lots and the general building construction is a concrete slab on grade, a wood frame structure with wood roof trusses and TPO roof and either a hardiboard or EIFS exterior with a stone water table. The interiors are finished out to Verizon Wireless’ layout and specifications.
