Scope Of Work
Install 22 Roof top units repipe and start up.
Cooling tower rebuild
Challenges city not cooperating with permits for street closer and unit height restrictions. Because of the location of the building on the waterfront the city would not allow a street closer because of this we approached the city with the idea of a helicopter which they said no to because of the noise they compromised on a night lift 2am. This created additional challenges such as visibility and safety. We added additional lights and personnel to over come this challenge. Again because of the location the units could not be 1 inch higher that the old units that were removed we worked with suppliers to help us with this and this building does not have a safety railing nor a parapit again the city would not allow us to install a safety railing. In the end we were given permission to install a galvanized (not yellow because the color would draw attention) that was removable.
The building management and its residents were very happy with our work and the willingness not to give up because this was a difficult project
