Our Story

In 1996 owner, Dirk Olsen, started out with one oil truck and several oil disposal contracts and Raptor Industries was born.  Over the years Raptor grew into an oilfield chemical company specializing in glycol, TEG and methanol for use in the gas and oil fields of Colorado.  In 2001, Advanced Oilfield Services was established in Rifle Colorado and the Piceance Basin.  Over the years Advanced would grow to be a leader on the service side of oilfield construction and development.  In 2009, Advanced Oilfield made the move to Claysville, Pennsylvania and the Marcellus Shale play. Advanced brought with them extensive knowledge and experience into a new and booming field.  3 years later in 2012 Advanced once again expanded into the Utica shale play and opened shop in Mineral City Ohio, at this same time Advanced traveled north to Williston North Dakota and set up operations in the booming Bakken field.  In 2015 Advanced traveled back to the front range of Colorado and into the DJ Basin. In 2017, Advanced made Platteville Colorado their company headquarters at the same time they opened their 6th division in Carlsbad New Mexico. In 2018 Advanced Oilfield Services changed their visions and began focusing out of the oilfield and focusing more on renewable energy and civil construction. Later in the year 2020 Advanced Oilfield Services changed their name to Advanced Contracting Group to better support the work that they were consistently landing. Advanced Contracting Group then opened a new office in Michigan. Advanced Contracting Group brings a wide area of services to the table offering and offering complete turn key products in the following areas:

Civil Construction/Earthwork, Utility Installation, Environmental Revetment, Great Lakes beach stabilization.

Reclamation, Slope Stabilization, Storm water planning and execution, Hydraulic seed and stabilization, and Overlot Stabilization
