Scope Of Work

This new 76,000 SF elementary school project required collaborative pre-construction and construction services. This new 550 student school was constructed in the former parking area of an eponymous 1960’s facility that had become obsolete and was demolished in its entirety. Site improvements included new water, sewer and electric services, a new entry drive and parking facilities and age appropriate playgrounds for students. Construction consisted of a classroom wing, gymnasium, locker room facilities, cafeteria and food service preparation area. The school more than doubled the size of the original facility, allowing students to stay in the same building throughout their elementary and middle school years. The school’s floor plan comprises three distinct wings arranged around a circular entrance plaza and a triangular sundial.
