Scope Of Work
One of the services Superior Construction provides our customers communities is emergency repair construction. Our Southeast operations regularly see natural disaster, as was true with the 2018 hurricane season. Our crews are hard at work on the SR A1A Flagler Beach repair project in Northeast Florida. Working with the Florida Department of Transportation, we are installing beach sand, reconstructing approximately 1.5 miles of SR A1A, installing 5,000 LF of a concrete seawall to prevent future washouts and failures along the beach, and relocating 7,400 LF of a water and sewer system. One feature in the reconstruction is the installation of the French drain system, approximately 7,400 LF, and will be installed at 10-feet. This drain system will allow for containment of large amounts of water to prevent future flooding. We’re on track for a year-end completion.
