Scott manages the day-to-day activities in the office including
everything from answering phones and filing to dealing with insurance
issues, lien waivers, job cost and financial reporting. With the
exception of a four-year stint in the Navy, Scott has always been
involved in construction. He grew up working for his dad, building
homes in the Fredericksburg area. He eventually moved into office and
safety management for a commercial construction company in San
Antonio. His work took him to South Carolina and Kansas, where he
provided quality control and safety management. Scott also worked in
Austin, providing office and equipment management services for a large
Dallas based firm. Desiring to raise their daughter in a smaller
community, Scott and his family returned to Fredericksburg where he
worked for a custom home builder before joining the Phoenix
Construction team. Scott’s education includes 90 hours of coursework,
including accounting and safety engineering. Reading and working in
the yard are among Scott’s favorite pastimes.
