Stewart & Stevenson Power Rental (www.stewartandstevenson.com/power-rental)serves business, government and industry with rental equipment that includes generators, air compressors, forklifts and railcar movers. Contingency contracts enable clients to prepare for emergency weather events with the assurance that equipment needed will be available. Our fleet consists of generators: 100kw to 2MW, air compressors ranging from 400cfm to 1600cfm (high pressure units up to 500psi) and lift trucks starting at 9,000Lb to 55,000Lb lift capacity and (3) zone 53’ refrigerated trailers.

Stewart & Stevenson's Houston, TX branch serves the oil and gas, power generation and on highway markets. We provide oil and gas power units of all types, standby power generation, and MTU engines, Allison transmissions and DEUTZ engines.

Our service offerings include power generation maintenance agreements, field service around the world, fracturing equipment refurbishment and Allison Transmission overhaul. Our truck shop provides service, maintenance and repair for on highway tractors, buses, fire trucks and emergency equipment. Our highly-trained service personnel are ready to service all types of equipment anytime, anywhere.

Stewart & Stevenson founded in Houston, TX in 1902 and has operated as a subsidiary of Kirby Corporation since September 2017.
