MLJ Contracting Corp.

MLJ Contracting is a new General Contracting venture started by Tom Iovino and Rich Ocken. Mr. Iovino was the founder and former owner of Judlau Contracting, a major NYC General Contracting firm. Mr. Ocken held various executive-level roles in the company from 2004 thru 2016. Neither Mr. Iovino nor Mr. Ocken have any remaining affiliation with Judlau. Mr. Iovino completed the sale of Judlau to the OHL Group in 2016, and after serving as CEO for all of OHL’s US and Canadian operations, Mr. Iovino retired from Judlau in August 2017 to focus on developing the Iovino Enterprises family of companies. Iovino Enterprises includes other affiliated companies previously founded by Mr. Iovino and not included in the sale to OHL – TC Electric, J-Track, Welkin Mechanical, and Environmental Infrastructure Group (EIG). Iovino Enterprises has established a Shared Services Division that will provide administrative “back-office” support (Finance/Accounting, Information Technology, Legal, HR, etc.) to each of the operating companies so that operating management can focus on building their organizations to get and execute work as efficiently and profitably as possible.
