Waypoint Contracting is a woman-owned small business headquartered in Miami, Florida. We are licensed, insured and bondable and provide construction management and general contracting services for clients throughout Florida.

Waypoint Contracting was founded by Katrina Gonzalez and Jorge Lopez, and specializes in servicing the Florida market. Our heritage dates back to 1988, when Zurqui Construction Services was established in Miami, Florida. Through the years, Zurqui gained a reputation as an award-winning general contractor specializing in complex construction projects for federal and local governments as well as commercial ventures.

In 2016, the Zurqui Construction team merged with Waypoint Contracting, combining the leadership experience and talents from each company into a single firm dedicated to providing the best construction management and general contracting services in the State of Florida.

Our leadership team has a thorough understanding of federal, state and local regulations and requirements. Our close relationships with South Florida’s best designers, subcontractors, and vendors allow us to provide superior construction services with a quality that is unmatched.
