Scope Of Work
The Fairfield Inn and Suites of Waxahachie sets next door to the Waxahachie Civic Center and across the freeway from Baylor Scott and White Campus. Just 30 minutes east of Dallas, the city of Waxahachie boasts attractions that appeal to both tourists and business travelers. The charm of historic homes and buildings, hiking and biking trails, the proximity to state parks and the city’s friendly atmosphere draws thousands of visitors each year.
LnG was called regarding taking on a role as a Construction Manager to assist the original General Contractor who had fallen over 9 months behind schedule and was making no progress. The project was framed and the exterior had been done but within weeks of us being involved the GC pulled off and filed for bankruptcy. LNG took over the project and it was determined much of the work had not been installed correctly and would require major rework. LnG assisted the owner in negotiating settlements with the subs by allowing some to complete the project while replacing others to increase quality and schedule. We began this project full force in March and opened in June of 2018?.
