Ben Patton's Bio
I currently serve as the Director of Development Services for Ameris Construction. My role focuses on all predevelopment activities associated with the firm’s role as both general contractor and joint development partner in new construction. Among the tasks included with my role include site selection, due diligence, initial pro forma development, negotiation with broker/seller, coordination with design and engineering team and overall project viability.
Prior to this position I have spent over 20 years providing similar services on both the government and private side of development review. I have provided development entitlement assistance and project coordination service to a broad range of entities, including construction, design, legal, engineering and local government agencies.
Through these varied experiences I have built many useful relationships throughout the development community of greater Phoenix. As a City Planner I have worked closely with many local jurisdictions on urban affairs in the past and am familiar with the dynamics of urban development in this rapidly changing environment.
