A. DeVito & Son, inc. is the embodiment of the American Dream.  Rooted in the turn of the 20th century when a young Italian immigrant landed in Mount Vernon, NY with nothing but a desire to seek opportunity of a better life.  Giacomo DeVito, the patriarch of the family, founded the organization as a masonry contracting firm.  Developing his reputation, his quality of work, and his unparalleled skill to take care of his customers, Giacomo brought his son Anthony on board to help grow the company.  Fast forward to 1961, Anthony and his only son "Jack" formally incorporated the business to it's namesake today.  The father and son team focused on expanding operations to residential home construction and development.  Upon graduating from college in mid 1970's John joined his father grandfather as the fourth generation member of business.  With renewed youth and vigor, John helped expand the companies resume in the commercial sector.  Acquiring such clients as IBM, Pepsico, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and numerous small and local businesses, A. DeVito & Son, became an organization with no limitations to the scope of their work.  Today, with John's son Kyle as the fifth generation member on staff, the company still prides itself on quality of work, community engagement, and the strongest customer focus that has enabled A. DeVito & Son, inc to be an industry staple for over 100 years.
