Carpet Decorators Inc opened the doors to our first office in 1972 as a traditional style residential floor covering store in Central City Kentucky, founded by Harold and Carolyn Young. In 1976 they welcomed their son Mark Young to the team and expanded into commercial flooring applications. Soon after CDi began performing work throughout the region. The venture into commercial work was so successful, in 1985 the residential division was sold to focus on servicing commercial clients fulltime. In the late 90's CDi expanded further adding offices in both Louisville and Indianapolis.Today, CDI has over 40 years of experience with commercial floor covering.  Our management team represensts some of the most experienced, respected, and trusted proffesionals in the area.  Installers at CDi hold numerous manufacturer certifications.  CDi Floors has you covered. CDi Floors is one of the regions largest and most well established floor covering contractors.  From small business to multilevel hospitals, gymnasiums to convention centers, you can trust that our team will tend to your project with detail and professionalism.
