Scope Of Work
Michels was the prime contractor for the major reconstruction of STH 67, Summit Avenue located in Oconomowoc, WI. The project consisted of reconstructing 3.5 miles STH 67 and reconstructing the existing four lane divided highway into a six lane divided highway. The project also included reconstructing two bridges, four retaining walls, pedestrian tunnel, traffic signals and FTMS for 10 intersections. Michels also utilized custom crushing crews to recycle the existing roadway into salvaged base aggregates. Michels installed approximately 170,000 square yards of concrete pavement 9-inch, 10,000 linear feet of 36-inch integral curb and gutter, 145,000 tons of base aggregate dense, 40,000 tons of breaker run, and 55,00 square yards of geotextile fabric.
