Scope Of Work

This $110,000,000 bond program is comprised of 40 to 50 projects which include renovations, upgrades and additions to existing facilities as well new construction. The Facility Master Plan for 2016- 2020 is a comprehensive plan for Rock Hill School District’s (RHSD) buildings and grounds. Laying the foundation for an ongoing master planning system, a permanent team of educators and community stakeholders have developed a five-year plan of action to transform all RHSD schools into collaborative, sustainable, efficient places where students can learn, grow, connect and thrive. J.M. Cope is providing program management services, serving as the owner’s representative and overseeing the entire program with a focus on maximizing the full budget, scope, and schedule. Examples of projects from this program include: New District Office for Rock Hill School District 3 J.M. Cope has overseen the selection process and competitive pricing through the Design-Build process for a new 30,000 gsf District Office. Language Immersion Academy Construction of a new two-story, 75,000 gsf, K-3 Elementary School for the combined Language Immersion Academy, currently taught in three separate elementary schools and Sullivan Middle School. South Pointe High School Renovations A variety of construction projects have been implemented to support the athletic programs including track repairs and replacement, athletic field lighting upgrades, training room renovations, wrestling practice areas, new softball, football and soccer field support buildings.
