Scope Of Work
Gottsacker Commercial, a developer and good client of A Chappa Construction purchased a lot on one of the busiest intersections in Sheboygan. This was to be the site for a new multi-retailer facility, which would be the new home for companies such as Big Apple Bagel, State Farm Insurance, and Jimmy Johns. Given their past relationship it only seemed fitting for Gottsacker and A Chappa to team up on this project.
The building was to be comprised of a masonry shear wall with steel columns, bar joist, roof decking, and structural steel studs. Many obstacles had to be addressed along the way such as the location of the project being on a well-traveled thoroughfare. In addition a major fiber optic line servicing the entire northeast side of the state ran right through the buildings foundation. It was due to organization and coordination that smooth operations and a consistent schedule were met and maintained.
To date the building is 100% occupied and because of a positive working relationship, A Chappa Construction has done many of the build outs for several of the individual suites.
