lark Drew Construction was founded in 1978 by Clark Drew. Clark Drew Construction started small with additions and remodels to homes, but quickly became known as a premier custom home builder in the area. Clark Drew Construction became incorporated in 1996 after James Drew and Chris Drew became partners in the firm. Clark Drew Construction has evolved into a full service general contractor, with building projects that include educational facilities, retail space, office buildings, apartment buildings, and pre-engineered steel buildings. Our staff is some of the most experienced in the industry, and we perform our own concrete, carpentry, and steel erection.

Clark Drew Construction takes pride in being part of the Brookings community. We employ 30 full time and part-time employees that live in and around Brookings. Nine of our full-time employees attend South Dakota State University (SDSU) and many of our part-time employees are students of SDSU. We support local busineses in our day-to-day operations and give back to Brookings through support of many non-profit, community, university organizations such as: CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Boys & Girls Club, SDSU Construction Management Club and youth baseball teams among others. We are members of the SDSU Distinguished University Benefactor Society, Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce, Vision Brookings Campaign, Brookings Area Builder's Assocation and the South Dakota Associated General Contractors.
