Action Properties has refurbished buildings as large as 110,000 square feet and as tall as five stories. The company has created a very strong operational team to execute the development and management of shopping centers. Action Properties has the resources to act as a general contractor (by doing the construction work with their own company) in order to control the cost, or by using a network of sub contractors. Action Properties does everything from site selection to financing, architect plans, and negotiating leases with national and regional tenants. Action Properties is also a member of the International Conference of Shopping Centers, and specializes in a special niche in redevelopment in small towns. Action Properties has acquired twenty three properties totaling over 1,100,000 square feet of retail space. To date, Action Properties has created nearly 1,100 jobs and has generated on average a 30% increase in city sales taxes, $35 million in retails sales and $12.5 million in payroll.
