ndy has spent 35 years in the commercial and industrial construction industry and has been involved in a wide range of projects throughout the industry serving as the project superintendent, lead estimator and project manager.

As the owner of Andy Medcalf Construction, Andy plays a critical role in pre-construction and bidding. His extensive field experience provides a solid foundation for the constructability and innovation during the bidding phase that allows a competitive edge in pricing and bidding.

Andy continues to provide leadership and job progress oversight for every project to ensure that all stakeholders are satisfied with project progress, timeline, budget and quality.

Robert is a Salem native. He was born and raised in Salem and met his wife Debra here. They have been married for 30 years and have 6 children and 8 amazing grandchildren. Robert enjoys spending time outdoors dirt bike riding and going to Hot Rod classic car shows.

Byron Moody began his career as a casework subcontractor learning the fine details of keeping a clean workplace and expert craftsmanship. With 32 years of construction experience Byron understands how to communicate with owners, subcontractors and facilitate anyone on a jobsite. Byron is able to utilize his unique experience as a casework maker to create a finished interior that stands out for its cleanliness and execution of design.

In his years with AMCC he has been put on projects where he has had to perform work outside of his area of expertise yet still completes it with the craftsmanship expected of someone with years of experience.

Gil Miller joined the Andy Medcalf Construction Co. team 4 years ago and has quickly become an integral member to our company. With experience as a residential home builder for almost 20 years Gil has exposure to commu¬nicating between owners, subcontractors and architects.

Gil started as a superintendent for AMCC and ran some of our biggest jobs to date. He has since transitioned to one of our project managers where he has flourished with his problem solving and communication skills.

Rod is the newest project engineer to Andy Medcalf Construction Co.’s team, yet he has still shown an impressive amount of knowledge and competence in the short time he has been here. With his years of experience as a direct liaison between owners, erectors and inspectors during his time as a foreman for a Pre-Engineered Metal Building company, he has the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with those involved in his jobs. He also has the experience of 20 years as a journeyman carpenter which gives him a quality understanding of the work that must be done to get the project completed.

abina is a Project Engineer at Andy Medcalf Construction. Sabina has over 21 years experience in the construction business. In Sabina’s position she monitors compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, drawings and specifications. She interacts daily with our clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field. Her skill at cooperating and communicating effectively with the project manager and other project participants to assure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion has been key to providing our clients with the results they desire and deserve.

Sabina is from Frankfurt Germany and moved Oregon in 1986, where she has resided since. She has two teenagers and loves to travel and see the world. Sabina also enjoys riding quads, hunting, shopping, and camping. A fun fact about Sabina is that she used to be a professional sports team dancer.

Leslie is the gatekeeper for all project financial information. She is the one who ensures all project costs are recorded accurately, kept on target, and controlled by the project managers. As the Finance Manger of Andy Medcalf Construction Co., Leslie is responsible for all the accounting functions, including receivables, payables, payroll, job costing and long-term planning. In addition, she oversees our Human Resources and server set up and implementation.

Leslie is an accomplished financial professional with over 25 years’ experience and management. Leslie brings a wide range of expertise and skills to the Andy Medcalf Construction organization.

Leslie attended Corbin University and has lived in the Mid-Willamette Valley for many years. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family

David Wilson has extensive experience as a foreman and superintendent throughout his construction career. Prior to working for Andy Medcalf Construction Co. he worked as a foreman for 15 years with another commercial construction company. Over these years he has refined his knowledge of commercial construction drawings & specifications as well as his ability to coordinate the logistics of a complicated job site.

Jeremy Tisdale is a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in residential and wood framed commercial buildings, including experience in all aspects of framing construction. Has a deep understanding of blueprints, specifications, submittals among many other construction procedures. As a licensed contractor and previous business owner Jeremy understands how to effectively communicate with team members and owner.

Jeremy was born in Virginia but later moved to Los Angeles CA. After graduating High school, Jeremy decided to travel the country for a few years. During this time, he obtained an education that remains indispensable. Upon returning home, he met his future wife, Amber. They would later decide to migrate north to Oregon where they now have two wonderful kids and a home in the country. Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family, ethnobotany (the collection/dissemination of rare and endangered plant species) and spending time in the wilds of Oregon.

Joe has worked in construction for the past 18 years. During those years, his focus was on commercial construction. He also spent two years building and installing cabinets. Prior to joining the Andy Medcalf Construction team, Joe traveled most of the western United States either superintending or working as a carpenter on various projects.

“The most challenging project I’ve been on while working for AMCC would be the French Prairie Middle School project due to the tight schedule and challenges it presented. We overcame this by increasing our production and efficiency to ensure that the completion of the project was on time so that the school could open as planned.” 

Joe has lived in Oregon his entire life and enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and going on vacation with his wife and son.

Juan Galindo is one of the longest tenured Andy Medcalf Construction Co. employees with 6 years of experience. Through those years Juan has worked his way up from a laborer to a carpenter and then to a superintendent. With his many years of carpenter experience Juan excels at rough carpentry, demolition and finish carpentry. Over his years with AMCC as a superintendent he has developed his abilities to interpret and execute drawings as well as coordinate subcontractors, employees and owners.

Mary has over 30 years of bookkeeping experience ranging from processing payroll and invoices to answering phones and filing paperwork. She is currently the payroll specialist for AMCC. She processes payroll, tracks subcontractor’s certified payroll and enters AP. She enjoys helping wherever needed. When you call into AMCC, Mary will most likely be answering the call with a smile as she enjoys customer service and communicating with staff, contractors and customers. Mary loves being a part of the AMCC family and enjoys having lunches and donut time together.

Mary is very family oriented.  She lives on a farm in the Marquam area with her husband of 30 years. She has two grown children that she is very proud of. Her son is a carpenter and her daughter is a nurse.

Stephanie’s role at Andy Medcalf Construction is Contract Administrator. She is responsible for setting up and maintaining contract and subcontract files. As well as process subcontracting billing and accounts payable. Most of Stephanie’s experience comes from past employments and (CE) continued education courses over the years. Stephanie’s willingness to learn new skills and do what it takes to become a great team member has delivered exception results.

Stephanie was born in Baltimore, MD but spent my youth and teenage years in Snohomish, Washington. She and her husband relocated to Salem after their two sons were born to be closer to family. Stephanie is passionate about crafts, pets, reading, and weekend traveling.
