Mr. Fuertes is currently acting as the Principal Engineer at MFS. As a Professional Licensed Engineer in multiple states, with over 15 years of experience, he ensures that the day-to-day business operations are successfully carried out. He specializes in due diligence site investigations, geotechnical engineering reports, construction inspections, geotechnical instrumentation, construction management, sustainable design, retaining wall structures, shallow/deep foundations, and foundation construction inspection.

As a Senior Associate Engineer at MFS, Mr. Mudalel currently leads the Geotechnical Engineering Department for the firm. With more than 10 years of experience in the consulting engineering business, Mr. Mudalel has developed a specialization in subsurface investigations, preparing geotechnical engineering reports with recommendations, waterfront designs, support of excavation designs, deep and shallow foundation designs, geotechnical specifications, controlled construction inspections, preconstruction surveys, and construction instrumentation monitoring. In addition, Mr. Mudalel has a vast amount of experience in the energy generation and transmission sector which includes electric, gas, wind, solar, and geothermal systems. Mr. Mudalel has developed a great reputation for developing a sensible engineering solution that will meet our client’s needs while managing project budgets and schedules.

Mr. Shim is a Structural Engineer with over 10 years of experience in heavy civil and large-scale projects including infrastructure design and construction, commercial and residential development, industrial and manufacturing facilities, and wastewater treatment and water supply structures. He has experience in working with federal, public, and private agencies such as GSA, USACE, PANYNJ, DOT, and MTA. Mr. Shim specializes in structural analyses and modeling of temporary and permanent structures, construction engineering, foundation design and construction, and performing structural investigations. In addition, Mr. Shim currently oversees MFS’ Structural Department.

Mr. Fuentes is a seasoned project manager with over 15 years of experience in heavy civil, transportation, infrastructure, energy, and storm resiliency projects. Mr. Fuentes has managed large-scale projects for public entities including MTA, DEP, NJT, NJTA, NYDOT, NJDOT, and PANYNJ. He has an extensive background in all processes required to successfully manage and track large complex projects requiring demanding schedules, environmental sensitivity, and community outreach coordination. Through his leadership skills, Mr. Fuentes also mentors and manages project staff and acts as the liaison with clients and stakeholders. His comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry has provided him with a solid foundation for managing multi-million dollar projects.

Mr. Ziolkowski has over 25 years of experience in the Land Survey profession overseeing land surveying projects in New Jersey and New York. His diversified experience includes preparing land surveys for federal, state and local government agencies as well as commercial, residential, private homeowners and construction contractors. His portfolio of projects includes alta, boundary, topographic, hydrographic and as-built surveys. He has also performed structural monitoring and construction layout. He is responsible for scheduling survey crews, assigning and reviewing their work, and implementing surveying procedures. Supervises the preparation of and reviews right-of-way mapping, including general property parcel maps (GPPMs) and individual parcel maps (IPMs), as well as their associated legal descriptions.
