Joe Mahoney Electric

Joe Mahoney started in the electrical business when he was 15 yrs old with his uncle.  He had to quit school to go work in his family electrical business.  His uncle sent him to electrician school to be a licensed electrician.  After 5 yrs of Electrician School, he went to work for United Electric for a couple of yrs. At the age of 25 he started his own company, Joe Mahoney Electric.  When Joe first started his business he performed mostly high-end residential homes.  Joe has been a subcontractor  for Fazio Mechanical for over 20 yrs. He does communication work for many store who have an electrician but can not perform communications work.

Joe Mahoney paid for 3 of his employees schooling at The Associated Builders & Contractors Association of Western PA.  Last year's their fourth year student, Shane Rose, was asked by ABC to compete in the Second Annual Craft Competition.  Shane had to build a full service and he won the competition.  Shane is headed to the National Competition in Nashville TN. to represent ABC of WesternPA.   Joe Mahoney congratulates and wishes Shane the best.
