Music City Masonry Contractors started in 1987 after spending over 9 years working my way up from laborer, to mason tender, to mason and finally job foreman, for another company. I had the desire to “run my own shop” so I took and passed the contractor’s licensing exam, gathered a crew together and got to work. It seems like yesterday. I had no idea, when I started MCMC how much the masonry field would evolve and how important those 9 years of field experience would prove to be. When we started we worked mostly on residential construction, mainly new homes and apartments, and gradually started to bid on and be awarded small commercial project in the early 90’s. We developed a reputation of providing quality work on time and continued to grow. The size and complexity of the projects also increased.
