AKEA, Inc. and AKEA Design, Inc. are minority-owned, verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. We provide architectural and engineering, construction, design-build, and construction management services to federal, public, institutional, and commercial clients.

AKEA began as a one-man Environmental Services and Architectural and Engineering company in 2002, by Air Force Veteran and Professional Engineer Anthony J. Kwan. The
company was formed to provide engineering services to government and private companies in Florida and the Southeastern United States.

AKEA Design, Inc. was established as a separate descendant company of AKEA, Inc. in 2011, when management decided to formally separate the design and construction functions
of the business. AKEA, Inc. and AKEA Design, Inc. have established their reputations in their respective industlies by providing quality services during every phase of every project, resulting in winning repeat business from our diverse client base.
