Scope Of Work

Approximately how many were for HPUMC by Alliance, what kinds were they?

Over the past 4 years we have successfully over 50 . From a full restoration wood windows dating back close to 80 years including lead base paint remediation with full exterior 4 story exterior space enclosure to interior additions reconfigurations spaces. All types interior finishes upgrades, ongoing painting both interior exterior. Design build creations fixtures for special ceremonial events. Modifications refinishing cathedral millwork bronze metal railings. Stone cast stone works, plaster repairs. Waterproofing both above below grade including underground drainage systems exterior custom fabrication rotted wood to match age old custom profiles.

How did Alliance come into conversation at HPUMC?

We started as a consultant to assess condition decades-old wood exterior windows how / what to do recommend replacement or rehabilitation. This came from a call long time friend architect Kurt Thiel asking if I knew anyone as a Fenestration expert. In this that was myself since I grew up in wood window door manufacturing with over 30 years’ experience. Once my report was presented to board trustees they asked if I would consider be one to take charge restoration . We agreed formulated a 3-year plan to systematically around campus which we less than 18 Months – ahead on budget. With zero stop or incidents using EPA Lead Safe means methods.

What challenges did Alliance face working within an occupied space, knowing that church/admin activities happen on a daily/weekly basis?  

As with all , no matter size or complexity, it is our number one priority to look from customer’s perspective guest experience. Therefore, the continuous use dust being versatile to what works best for customer over our own needs or perceived inconveniences has been difference  success occupied spaces. We have a “Happy to Do It” perspective to not rush process while keeping “Time is Essence” our driver.

How are users spaces responding to by Alliance?

We continue to get calls daily weekly for requests to help partner on one type or another. Our compliments come from sincere words gratitude from guests alike knowing we make a difference every time we step foot on HPUMC Campuses.

What did you learn through working on this ?

others is a matter heart not wallet. Either we do things to our highest best or not at all. We’ve learned that as we are faithful things that we will be faithful in larger ones, no matter scope or size itself. Is for Alliance most important we have going at all times.
