2006 Blue Book Going to Press: Company Announces Largest Distribution Ever!
Westchester, N.Y. The Blue Book of Building and Construction announces its largest print distribution since the company’s inception in 1913. Over 750,000 copies of The Blue Book will be delivered free of charge to qualified construction buyers nationwide beginning this January.
For over 90 years, The Blue Book has been bringing industry buyers and sellers together through its premier database of contractors, suppliers and manufacturers.
New for 2006 are two regional print editions covering Central Valley, California and Colorado, as well as three new industry classifications: Site Development; Truck Centers and Bathroom & Kitchen Fixture Restoration.
“The 2006 Blue Book editions cover more markets than ever before. The introduction of three new classifications also makes the 2006 editions more complete. Despite an increase in Internet usage at thebluebook.com, the demand for our print editions keeps rising. This is in contrast to other industry publishers who are discontinuing their print products in lieu of Internet services. The addition of these new regional editions is part of the company’s strategic plan to cover every major US market,” explained Jeff Fandl, Editor of The Blue Book.
