Salazar took the plunge and began building a family business, he set out to make a unique bathroom repair service better and a real money saver for consumers. The strategy was to provide faster and much better service than Long Islanders were getting at the time, plus a longer lasting job. His refinishing roots go back 32 yrs. ago to 1979 at Nu-Glaze Industries, now long gone, his skills took him to other reglazing outfits that never grew, then came Bathtub Doctor, which went from a basement start-up to a highly recognized team serving thousands of residential homes, apartments, general contractors, architects, real estate management companies, government facilities, hotels, hospitals, restaurants, etc. in the Nassau County and New York metropolitan areas.
