Samer Shalaby graduated from George Washington University in 1987 with a BA in Civil Engineering followed by a Master of Science from George Washington University in 1989. Samer Shalaby is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Virginia and Maryland.
From 1989 – 1994 Mr. Shalaby served as the Regional Manager for GMT Stafford, Inc, a geotechnical engineering company. He was responsible for overall planning, marketing and office operations, as well as all of their engineering services.
Prior to creating DCS, Mr. Shalaby was Director of Engineering and Construction for Fredericksburg area’s largest developer, the Silver Companies. He managed the construction of site infrastructure for the largest power-shopping complex on the East Coast, the largest new retail complex in Stafford County, and the construction of nearly 2.5 million sq. ft. of retail space. He also supervised several large-scale renovations, including a 100,000 sq. ft. warehouse into multi-tenant retail space and complete conversion of the 200-room Fredericksburg Sheraton Hotel to a Holiday Inn Select.
Mr. Shalaby has significant and successful experience with identifying, creating, and developing large and small scale commercial and residential property throughout the Fredericksburg area as well as several projects nationwide.
