Biographical Information
A fifth generation Californian whose ancestors came to California on a wagon train, Craig Awbrey grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, attended Menlo-Atherton High School, and graduated from Stanford University. Craig is focused primarily on custom home and building construction projects. 

Craig has a passion for building high quality custom building projects and believes that if something is worth doing, it is worth doing right. He adheres to the philosophy that a builder can attain quality that can be superior, while at the same time, keeping the cost to a reasonable amount.

Working with reclaimed materials is also a favorite activity. So much so that Craig built much of his own house from reclaimed lumber, doors and floor coverings. The hands on approach that Craig offers means you get him focused on your project, unlike a company where the designer or project manager is splitting time between multiple projects. Craig wants the character of the structures he builds to reflect the surrounding environment and to dovetail into the history of the site. He really enjoys designing and constructing the right building to complement surroundings, much the same way a fine wine is chosen, tasted, and found pleasing to the palette when paired with a particular gourmet meal!

Craig enjoys serving his clients and most especially loves to see their positive reaction when they interact with the finished product and receive emotional and experiential benefit from use of the building.
