Fire Alarm Systems

A system that allows them to detect threats to their businesses and homes long before catastrophe strikes.  Our fire alarm control panels can be engineered to fit the unique fire protection needs of both our residential and commercial customers, systems that protect both the buildings and its occupants.

Fire Monitoring Stations

Fire alarm systems save lives by alerting on-site security, the fire department, and your staff of the fire. If you do not have on-site security monitoring station the system will contact the monitoring station which in turn will contact the fire department and provide you with the best protection possible. Our fire detection systems allow for affordable and reliable protection that complies with mandatory fire codes.  For complete maximization of protection our systems allow for manual activation as well and automatic; smoke detectors offer additional protection and peace of mind; systems have the ability to send signals indicating obstruction levels have been reached and maintenance is required to avoid false alarms; water flow systems can help prevent water damage; and the monitoring station is notified anytime water begins to flow through a sprinkler system as to minimize and/or prevent water damage.  

Monitoring, Testing & Certification of Systems

Designed to control the flow of people to or from an area, these systems are also used for many other functions, ranging from machine operator authorizations to time keeping to building security and automation.

A typical access control system will consist of a door or gate, an electrically controlled locking device, an authorization device (card reader) and a means of exit. This is usually expanded to include door position sensing, automatic exit sensors and a local alarm audible/visual device.

Systems Integration, Situational Awareness & Mass Notification

A Systems Integrator is much more than an alarm or access control company. The term “integrate” in this context is to combine resources of differing function and/or nature into a cohesive system to achieve a more comprehensive solution to the need at hand. Integration can take a variety of forms, often combined in creative ways to take advantage of unique characteristics that have common function or output. Depending on the goals of the client, we may integrate multiple systems via software, hardware and “wetware” (people and process). In simple form it may be a door position sensor that is monitored for how long it is open during the day and then acts as an intrusion sensor at night. This integrates the access controller with the security controller and can reduce hardware needs, complexity and lower maintenance costs.

Situational Awareness is just that – letting people know of a situation whether it’s the presence of activity in a certain area, an maintenance situation or an emergency requiring immediate action. This can quickly roll into the application of a Mass Notification System (MNS) that may use loudspeakers, email, texts, robo-calls or other means to let the appropriate people know the nature of the situation.
