Advanced Fire Protection Inc., Bill McKay, started Advanced Fire Protection in 1981 in Woodinville WA. Advanced Fire specializes in Wet and Dry automatic fire sprinkler systems. They design, do calculations and install automatic sprinkler systems in high-rises, mix use buildings, retirement homes, apartment buildings, office buildings, tenant improvements and residential houses. Advanced Fire Protection is a NICET Level III design team.

We are a family-owned business. Bill McKay has been in the fire sprinkler business for 55 years. When he developed Advanced Fire Protection he knew to be competitive that he would need to keep cost down so he built an office with an 9,000sq ft fabrication shop. With having a fabrication shop you control when material is fabricated, we can have products fabricated same day for rushed install times and cut the cost of another company charging for the fabrication.

Bill has used his 55 years of experience to train his estimators to be thorough. Advanced Fire Protection's Designers work with the GC and owner to give them a product that matches their idea for their project. Advanced Fire Protection uses the latest technologies which includes CAD and BIM to design every project.  

Advanced Fire Protection's install team always strives for safety being the number one priority, then quality on every job. The project managers will help guide the install team all the way to end of every project to make sure everyone is smiling at the final inspection of every project.
