Steven Parent's Bio
Steve is a principal at DPK and enjoys managing all aspects of the business. Beyond executive oversight, Steve focuses on business development, sales and strategic relations. As a New Jersey Licensed Professional Land Surveyor himself, Steve brings a wealth of experience to team. Clients count on Steve to provide guidance on complex projects as well as accurate and cost-effective solutions.
Recognizing the importance of people, equipment, productivity and customer commitments, Steve has spearheaded DPK’s Health and Safety culture. There are few Land Surveying companies in the region who have embraced ongoing Health & Safety training as a core value.
Steve is a member of the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors, the Environmental Business Council, the Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association and the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists.
Steve spent 15 years in the Land Surveying industry before launching DPK. He held positions as Chief of Surveys and General Manager at consulting, engineering and surveying firms across New Jersey.
Steve is an avid sports enthusiast. Growing up in the New England region, Steve is naturally an all Boston teams fan. He’s had a good decade as Boston teams have won 13 world championships in the past 9 years! Even Yankee fans can appreciate that. Steve enjoys spending time with his family at their beach house in Delaware and playing golf with colleagues and friends.
James Heiser's Bio
James is a principal at DPK. As a New Jersey and New York licensed Professional Land Surveyor, he enjoys having a wide variety of projects and customers to work with each day. James supervises the development of survey projects from start to finish. He works closely with clients to ensure the most efficient and effective approach for their projects. Once begun, James maintains ongoing communication to keep clients well informed throughout the process.
His commitment to being at the forefront of technology keeps DPK ahead of the curve. Using state of the art surveying equipment, DPK provides clients with the highest level of quality, accuracy and uniformity within their high-tech deliverables.
After taking a job with DPK during the summer of 2003, James decided to become a land surveyor. Solidifying his career path, James graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering Technology and received licensure as a professional land surveyor in the states of New Jersey and New York.
James is a member of the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors, New York State Association for Professional Land Surveyors, and the National Society of Professional Surveyors. He is also a member in the Environmental Business Council, the Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association and the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists.
James is a family man. He enjoys spending time with his wife and family whether it’s traveling, golfing, playing darts, bowling, or attending all types of sporting events.
