Scope Of Work
Lorentz Bruun Construction was awarded a “top-dog" project, the expansion of Sniff Dog Hotel in the Pearl District. Sniff Dog Hotel is the first ever luxury dog hotel in downtown Portland. Besides offering lodging ranging from a standard room to a penthouse room, Sniff Dog offers daycare, training, shopping boutique, salon & spa and even a café for the human pets. The 10,000 sq. ft ground-up building consists of four floors, a retail ground floor, two floors of suites and play areas and a roof-top dog run with city views. Construction of this building presented staging challenges since there was no available staging area on the project site. The lack of staging required us to run the project tower crane from the Wells Fargo parking lot across the street.
