Long before founding Original Rock Replicas, Mike Hossein Sattari, our owner, discovered a line in the sand that he was unwilling to cross. While working as a civil engineer in Colorado, he was asked to survey a mountain — a mountain he soon discovered was scheduled for demolition, its minerals and oil deposits slated for extraction. Mike simply could not be party to the continued destruction of Mother Nature; he quit on the spot and determined to create a product that reflected the beauty of nature, without harming it. In an effort to give back to the earth he respects so much, Mike makes it a personal mission to plant 10 trees every year.
