Forming a construction company from scratch John started home and commercial remodels 30 years ago. Transforming from residential to commercial remodeling in the mid 90’s John found his niche in the hospitality industry. Pursuit Builders has been on a steady uphill climb since inception. Performing work in the hotel industry from Alaska to Florida has been a passion of his.

Mr. Cummins comes to us from the Midwest through Florida. He has been in the construction industry since the mid 80’s and had owned and operated his own company in the Tampa area for 10 years. His unique ability to methodically plan a project from start to finish makes a great compliment to the Pursuit team.

Mr. Gallo has been a team member from the beginning, starting with John on remodeling projects in the late 80’s. Mr. Gallo brings to the team a unique ability to transform the designs vision to reality. Along with a gift for coordinating the daily operations of the hotel staff, architect and subcontractors. His innate ability to anticipate the demands of the hotels' operations make him a key player in a successful project.

Mr. Nelson has owned and operated his own general contracting business before joining the Pursuit team in 2012. As a successful contractor in the Midwest, he comes to us with 31 years of construction experience. Mr. Nelson's strong suit is his ability to problem solve and overcome adversity to save the customer valuable time to meet project completion deadlines.

Matthew grew up working in the hospitality industry since a young age. Starting as a laborer he has worked his way quickly into a management role. Matt has a remarkable eye for detail and an amazing ability to bring a team together under pressure to complete the task at hand.
