The Petersen Companies, Inc. was established in 1926 as Arvid C. Petersen, builder, and has since been handed down from generation to generation.  We proudly provide a fourth generation of excellence that continues to enjoy and maintain a reputation of stability, dependability and integrity through all phases of construction.  We are a general contracting company, with bonding capabilities, incorporated in 1986, under the current owner Arvid C. Petersen, grandson of the founding father.  We take pride in saying that, through our team approach to construction, we are able to produce fast track projects within their time frame, maintain top quality results and keep our customers satisfied.  The Petersen companies, Inc. has repeat business relationships that are already established longer than most companies have been in business.

Our commercial work experience varies from 1,500 sq.ft. to 50,000 sq.ft. store facilities, airport, federal, state, local municipalities, office, manufacturing, restaurant, hospital, laboratory, educational, and banking work.  Our constructionprojects have ranged in value from $20,000.00 to $5,000,000.00.  The Petersen Companies, Inc. has a bonding capacity of $5,000,000.00 per project, $1,500,000.00 on our out-of-state projects and an aggregate bonded and non-bonded basis support of up to $8,000,000.00.  We continue to carry on the tradition of completing our client’s projects in a timely, professional manner with our customer’s satisfaction foremost in our minds.
