Our Story

Lige Dickson founded Lige Dickson Company in 1937, with a few pieces of equipment, a strong work ethic, and even stronger core values of safety, integrity, and quality. The reason for the company's success over several generations is the way that it performs its work.

Dickson Company is still family owned, now with a larger team that has a combined experience in excess of 150 years and as much technical ability and access to resources as any demolition, abatement, or civil construction contractor, while maintaining a safety record among the best in the industry. With an ever-growing fleet of heavy equipment and trucks, a company-owned inert waste landfill and a state-of-the-art concrete and rock crushing operation to complement these services, Dickson Company is uniquely equipped to offer a turn-key package to its clients.
