Since our inception in 2000, Ionic DeZign Studios (IONIC) has taken great pride in the philosophy that our designs create projects that become Art You Can Walk Through. We specialize in various commercial designs that include restaurant, retail and office space along with some residential. Our ability to adapt and our experienced personnel equip our team to fully and completely serve each of our clients. IONIC fosters creativity and encourages our employees to look beyond the edge. We take pride in even our smallest, most basic projects but we are especially proud of the creations that demonstrate the finesse and imagination of our architects and designers.

Our clients require a mixture of styles, often in an abbreviated period of time; we accept the challenge of meeting rigid deadlines and consistently exceed client expectations. Regardless of the complexity, IONIC re-focuses at the start of each project and provides the same level of commitment to each assignment. We balance your vision and desire for the project with your needs, deadlines and budget to develop a signature work of art.

In January of 2000, we opened our office/studio in Virginia Beach specializing in custom architectural design. We have had the good fortune to work with clients who encouraged liberal creative flexibility. Our combined education and experience has allowed us to program, design and manage many projects throughout Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina, including medical, educational, office, financial, restaurant and retail facilities.

Dedication to each project and personal commitment to its success has led to numerous repeat clients. With the increase in business, we relocated to our current office in Pembroke Office Center in downtown Virginia Beach. Our location puts us in close proximity to Town Center and convenient interstate access. A great deal of our work has been through private owners and negotiated contracts. Projects with the City of Gloucester for a new public library, contemporary office building in the Greenbriar section of Chesapeake and the renovations to the restaurant on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel has allowed us to illustrate our design talent in the public eye. Recently we have developed office building and retail space concepts for several developers. We are also currently involved in the large scale mixed-use development in the Oceanview section of Norfolk.

Ionic DeZign Studios (IONIC) has the technical support staff and consulting partners to successfully complete any project. Our designers and consultants work hand-in-hand to support a value system where client relations are paramount. IONIC provides services in initial programming, planning, design, construction documentation, specifications and construction management; producing a turn-key product to our clients’ delight.
